12 new homes are taking shape at Wainuiomata Marae. 🏠

It has been exciting to see the Wainuiomata Marae Papakāinga move from foundations into the main building phase.

Civil inground works are complete, foundations and piling have substantially progressed and framing, roof construction and roofing are now underway across the development.

Urban Plus has been working alongside Wainuiomata Marae Charitable Trust and our wider project partners throughout the journey - from planning and design through consenting, procurement, civil works and now construction.

The project is working toward handover in February 2027.
Over the coming months we'll continue sharing the progress as these 12 houses become homes.
