When I was 16 I decided my home was not for me & left to make a go at life on my own. Strathmore ‘44’ was my first step of having a go at adult life as a teen, whilst still attending school at Wellington Girls College.

Home to many famous people, entertainers & All Blacks, it was just good times, people, & multicultural community vibes. I would never have the blessed life I have now, be the person I am today, or be grateful for it, had I not experienced life in Strathmore.

It’s all being pulled down here now. Memories & street smart skills is what I have taken away.
