The 5 worst things about living in the Mount (from someone who has lived here long enough to know!)

1. The new boardwalk is so popular, you need to get there before everyone else has the same idea.

2. There are so many good cafes - deciding which one to meet at is one of life's difficult decisions.

3. Friends and family want to visit (& stay) with you every summer.

4. Sand gets into everything - the car, the house, just everywhere.

5. You become, fairly quickly, that person who wonders why anyone would live anywhere else.

It's such a tough place to live ... but we cope 🥰😍😘

Funny how it happens.

A little Mount & Papamoa market update… this time recorded on the Gold Coast. Turns out beaches all look fairly similar… although I still think ours are better, particularly while this one is a little on the grey scale!!

Fresh. Soft. A touch of sweetness.
Almost still warm. Perfectly fluffy. The sort of scroll that somehow disappears before you’ve even opened your eyes from savouring the first bite 😍
