This is the stage of a renovation where the little details start doing a lot of the work.

James walks through our Epsom renovation and points out a few things he’s particularly happy with so far, including the bathroom tiling, painting and some of the finishing details around the home.

There’s still work happening, but it’s starting to look less like a building site and more like someone’s home again.

A few little details are starting to make this Epsom renovation feel like a home again. 👀

James takes us through the project so far, from the new double-glazed windows and flooring to the sunroom, bathroom details and, apparently, a new TV courtesy of The Renovation Team.

For this Hillcrest home renovation, the goal wasn’t to extend the house. It was to make the existing footprint work a lot harder.

They loved Mount Eden. They’d just outgrown their apartment.

So instead of leaving the neighbourhood, they moved into a larger apartment in the same complex and renovated it before moving in.

Yep, this is the bit where the house looks worse before it looks better. 😅

This Auckland home renovation is in the demolition stage. The old built-ins are coming out, the curtains are down and the brick fireplace is being pulled apart.

It’s not the part you see in the polished after photos, but it’s real progress. Once everything that needs to go is out of the way, the next stage can begin.

Breaking news from an Auckland renovation site: we also eat. 😄

Our project manager, James, managed to squeeze in a quick lunch between checking what was happening on site. Not exactly the big renovation reveal, but an important update nonetheless.

The finished spaces usually get most of the attention. Behind them are all the site visits, progress checks and everyday moments that keep the job moving.
