A lot can happen in 10 years… thankfully, we’ve gotten better with age!

How incredible is it comparing these shots from 2016 with Port Nikau today?

Over the past decade, the land has continued to change and take shape. The first homes now popping up in Stage 1, preload is in place for the future Town Centre, minigolf construction is underway, commercial activity continues to grow along Logyard Road, and our marine community is thriving.

There’s plenty to spot between then and now and we’re very pleased to be part of the transformation.

Turn your loop run into 14km! 👟

Looking for a change of scenery? Start with your usual Hātea Loop, but when you reach Te Matau a Pohe, keep going down Port Road towards Port Nikau. Head around Waitai Trail, then make your way back to complete the Hātea Loop for an approximately 14km run.

Or head straight to Port Nikau and enjoy Waitai Trail on its own - a scenic 4km trail perfect for a walk, run or cycle.

Check out the route and give it a go this weekend!

Stage 1B sections are now available at Port Nikau.

Tucked into a private corner of Stage 1, 13 of the 21 sections sit directly along the coastal edge with uninterrupted views.

Eleven sections allow for two-storey homes, with elevated views out towards the water, Limestone Island and boats passing through the channel.

Stage 1B is a peaceful location with direct access to Waitai Trail, just 100 metres from Park Point and an easy walk to the future Port Nikau Town Centre.
