May stats! Prices are slipping a bit. Buyers continue to sit on the sidelines and we just don’t see the demand that we have in the past, especially this time of year. Mortgage rates not declining, and other prices surging, keeps people from making big purchase and big moves. That does mean the buyers who want to jump into home ownership or investors who want to expand their portfolio have opportunities now to negotiate and make some good buys!

January stats! Slight declines in prices in much of the market compared to this time last year. Mortgage rates have fallen and inventory should start increasing as spring approaches. In other words, it’s a pretty good time to buy. I think we are likely to see price gains in the next several months as weather improves and people get ready to move!
