Some home buying journeys are really quick…and some take the road less traveled. The one that takes some time to figure out what is really wanted and needed. And then when you get there…well, strap in!

Sophia called me about year and half ago…I think it was then. Her daughter had recommended me after seeing my name pop up several times in a local Ann Arbor moms Facebook group. We chatted, we met…she’s awesome. Her kids are awesome.

We began with a journey that started in Ypsilanti Township, but when we weren’t finding luck there for what Sophia needed, we expanded to Belleville, Westland, saw a couple of 😬😱 ones in VanBuren, and finally found the one in Taylor. A large ranch big enough for her, her kids, and entertaining. It was everything she’d been looking for.

The transaction was mostly smooth, albeit some hiccups here and there, but kept pushing through, rocked it out, and Sophia was patient, never gave up, and persevered. Then came the final walkthrough when she realized she had lost her driver’s license! We were so close. I’ve never seen someone work harder to bring as many forms of identification to the closing table as she had, just to make sure this wonderful home became hers.

as always, kept us steady throughout and I’m forever thankful for their service.

We did it! Sophia did it. And I’m so happy for her and her family. I really do love helping people and these days make it all worth it šŸ˜Šā¤ļø

The home you’ve been looking for in Ypsilanti Township has finally arrived 🤩

With all the big tickets items taken care of, you can just move right in and enjoy. New roof, new HVAC, new windows, new carpet, new paint, refinished hardwood floors, and fully paid off solar panels that will dramatically reduce your electric bills.

The standout of the home is the primary bath remodel unlike any remodel in the neighborhood with heated floors, and a custom built large walk-in shower with a rainwater shower head, a heated bench, and dimmable lights. The custom vanity offers quartz countertops, large sinks, and enough storage for all of your needs. Last but not least is the 2-person soaking tub for the ultimate relaxation space. The large primary provides all the space you could want in your personal retreat, along with a walk-in closet with a closet system.

The main floors gives you space for everything! A formal living room that leads into the dining room (or in this case, a playroom), a large kitchen with an eat-in island, and a step down family room. Oh, and an updated half bath.

And we haven’t even gotten to the finished basement. Now that’s a sight to be seen. And if gaming isn’t your thing, just having the extra 1000 sq feet of space to spread out is worth it.

All located right next to Ford Heritage Park, the Ypsilanti Public Library, and less than 10 minutes away from Rolling Hills Waterpark, DeBucks Family Farm, Wiard’s Orchard, and Lincoln Consolidated Schools. Not only that, you’re 20 minutes from pretty much anywhere, including DTW making this home the easy solution for commuting.

A home isn’t a home because of the square footage. It’s because of the memories we make and the stories we tell. From the little moments of Sunday morning breakfasts, to watching the big game, to birthday party bbqs, to the quiet (or loud) bedtimes. And all the moments in between.

That’s a home.

My sellers have made 2442 Moors Ct., Ann Arbor their home for the last 14 years, raised their kids in Saline schools in a fun and enjoyable Stonebridge community. It’s now time for someone else to call this place their HOME and begin their own stories.

DM me and let’s find out if this home is your dream in the making. 🄰

Going to get on my soapbox for a minute here.

We as a society, do NOT need AI. Was it cool at first, using it to write posts and help with scheduling, and make hilariously horrible photos of ourselves, sure. (Although even then I used it a total of 3 times). But now we know that using AI slowly deteriorates your brain’s ability to think for itself. And now we understand the destructive environmental impacts. So why are people still using it?

Corporations—including Meta, Apple, and Google are shoving AI down our throats whether we want it or not, and you have to opt out once you find out it’s doing that. I didn’t ask them to scan my pictures and emails, why are they?

Corporations—like Oracle, Planitir, and whatever company Musk is hiding behind, are pushing through data centers cloaked in secrecy. Now they’re even hiding behind the military to circumvent citizen protest, taxes, rules & regulations, and any oversight. We now know that these centers will use up precious resources like fresh water, cause extensive pollution (especially to water), and they wreak havoc on noise & light pollution. As a realtor, they will absolutely have a negative impact on your home’s value if you live near one.

Now all cars made in 2027 and after will be scanning your eyes and body to determine whether you’re fit to drive. Seems good to stop drunk or high drivers, except the technology isn’t there yet and it will create lots of false positives and put people in precarious situations. AND the car companies will sell that data to insurance companies which will in turn raise your rates.

Did you know that experts—and AI itself—admits that unregulated AI will indeed eventually wipe out humanity? Not trying to be a Debbie Downer here but that’s actually pretty serious. And our politicians (except for a few), are not pushing back…hmmm…wonder why?

None of this is worth using AI. Please think twice before your nest search. Thank you for listening.

*AI has done some good, but the general public does not need it.
