Let’s normalize celebrating ourselves, even when our accomplishments don’t look like everyone else’s. ❤️
For some people, renting is a stepping stone toward buying. For others, it’s the best decision for their current circumstances. And for many, securing a home they can afford, maintaining stability, and providing a safe environment for their family is a significant accomplishment in itself.
We don’t know what someone had to overcome to get those keys. We don’t know the sacrifices they made, the obstacles they faced, or how hard they worked to get there.
So, whether those keys open the door to a rented apartment, a rental house, or a home they purchased, the accomplishment isn’t just about who owns the property. It’s about what it took to get there and what that home means to them.
Renting isn’t failing. Buying isn’t the only definition of success. And you don’t have to own a home to be proud of the home you’ve created for yourself.
If you’ve worked hard to put a roof over your head, give yourself some credit. You deserve to celebrate that. And I’ll focus on helping people find their place in the world. ❤️
