This one hits a little different.

After more than 25 years as a family home, this property has officially closed and is beginning its next chapter.

This wasn’t the simplest transaction. There were negotiations, unexpected hurdles, tight timelines, paperwork challenges and more than a few moments where we had to adjust, problem-solve and keep pushing toward the finish line.

But that’s also what real estate is sometimes about.

Not every closing is a perfectly packaged transaction. Sometimes my job is simply to stay on top of the details, communicate with everyone involved, solve problems as they come and keep the deal moving while protecting my seller’s interests.

This one was also bittersweet for me personally. There are more than two decades of family memories inside these walls, and closing the door on that chapter carries a little more weight than putting a SOLD sign in the yard.

But endings make room for new beginnings.

The home will now be renovated and given new life, and eventually another family will get the opportunity to make their own memories here. There’s something pretty special about that.

25+ years. One chapter closed. Another one about to begin.

And officially… SOLD. 🔑

Berkshire Hathaway just made an $8.5 billion bet on homebuilder Taylor Morrison. That’s not a bet on today’s housing market—it’s a bet on where housing is headed.

My prediction: As rates eventually normalize and inventory gets absorbed, today’s buyers may be looking back wishing they had bought sooner.

Here in Central Texas, I’m still seeing long-term growth, new development, and strong demand. The smart money appears to be positioning itself accordingly.
