What it REALLY feels like to live in Lynnwood… 👇
It’s not the city. It’s not the country. It’s your home base.
If you work from home, your mornings probably look like:grabbing coffee (not Starbucks 😏), running a quick errand, and being back home in 15 minutes.
During the week, life just feels… easy.Less traffic than Seattle or Bellevue, more trees, and neighborhoods that are actually quiet.
And the convenience? This is where Lynnwood really wins.
You’re about:• 20 mins to Seattle (no traffic)• 30 mins to Bellevue• 20 mins to Paine Field• 45 mins to SeaTac• 10 mins to the light rail
Plus—you don’t need to leave.
Everything is here.Groceries, shopping, Alderwood, and one of the most underrated food scenes in the area(Vietnamese, Thai, Yemeni, Indian, sushi… it’s all here).
Housing-wise, you’re getting more space.Yards are normal. And there’s a mix of older homes + a ton of new construction popping up.
Weekends?Running errands, trying new restaurants, maybe hosting friends—it’s not flashy, but it’s comfortable.
BUT 👇
If you’re commuting into Seattle or Bellevue multiple days a week…that drive can wear on you fast.
And if you’re looking for wide open land or a super walkable city vibe—this probably isn’t it.
Lynnwood is for the people who want:more space, strong schools, and a place to actually settle in for the next 10+ years.
Honestly… once people move here, they’re usually surprised by how little they need to leave.
Thinking about making a move to the north end?I’ll help you figure out if Lynnwood is actually the right fit for you. 🫶🏻
