Spring in Lynnwood is not for the weak 🤧🌿

You know it’s bad when your car gets a fresh coat overnight… and your windshield wipers are doing the Lord’s work just so you can see.

Allergies? Immediate.

Regret going outside? Also immediate.

But honestly… I’ll take this over living anywhere else. We’ve got the trees, the space, the greenery… and apparently ALL the pollen to go with it 😂

If you’re local, I need to know —
are you surviving or suffering right now??

I just started allergy shots last week and am HOPING by the time the grass pollen starts going nuts I’ll be somewhat ok.🙈

What it REALLY feels like to live in Lynnwood… 👇
It’s not the city.�It’s not the country.�It’s your home base.

If you work from home, your mornings probably look like:�grabbing coffee (not Starbucks 😏), running a quick errand, and being back home in 15 minutes.

During the week, life just feels… easy.�Less traffic than Seattle or Bellevue, more trees, and neighborhoods that are actually quiet.

And the convenience?�This is where Lynnwood really wins.

You’re about:�• 20 mins to Seattle (no traffic)�• 30 mins to Bellevue�• 20 mins to Paine Field�• 45 mins to SeaTac�• 10 mins to the light rail

Plus—you don’t need to leave.
Everything is here.�Groceries, shopping, Alderwood, and one of the most underrated food scenes in the area�(Vietnamese, Thai, Yemeni, Indian, sushi… it’s all here).

Housing-wise, you’re getting more space.�Yards are normal.�And there’s a mix of older homes + a ton of new construction popping up.

Weekends?�Running errands, trying new restaurants, maybe hosting friends—�it’s not flashy, but it’s comfortable.

This is why if you can keep your home vacant while it’s on the market, you absolutely should. 🤪

But seriously, not everyone is in that position, so here I am rage cleaning away. Not every showing does this, but when they do happen like that it can be super frustrating to the homeowner.

This is a reminder to Realtors - if you’re running late, early, or need to cancel, double check the showing instructions and if it’s owner occupied, a quick text or Showing Time message is all it takes to keep the homeowner happy! 🌈

People can be pretty rude sometimes, but for the most part agents and their buyers show up on time. 🥶

But seriously, having your home on the market is stressful (believe I know…), and if you can keep it vacant it is easier. For those of us who can’t make that happen, I see you. 🫶🏼

Not everyone should move to Lynnwood… and that’s okay 👇

If you work in Bellevue or the Eastside, just know—this isn’t the easiest commute.�You’re looking at about 35 mins in the morning (on a good day) and 45–60+ on the way home.

If you don’t want a home with a yard… Lynnwood might not be your spot.

If your dream is wide open land, quiet roads, and more of a country feel—�you’ll probably love Snohomish or parts of Woodinville a lot more.

And if you want to be right in the middle of a super walkable, city-style lifestyle…�this isn’t Seattle.

BUT 👇

If you want more space, newer homes, great access to shopping, and a central location between Seattle + the north end…�Lynnwood starts to make a lot of sense.

It really just depends on what kind of lifestyle you want.
