For five years, I helped middle and high school students reach their highest potential on their instrument of choice in the marching and concert band setting. I now infuse my former love of teaching into my real estate career by helping members of the Charlotte, Lake Norman, and South Carolina community successfully navigate the home buying and home selling process with ease. My journey in real estate began with a clear purpose: to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals and families looking for a home. The spring market is active… but it looks different than it did a few years ago.

More inventory is hitting the market.
Buyers are taking a little more time.
And strategy matters more than ever.

In April:
• Pending sales climbed nearly 15% year over year
• Inventory continued to grow
• Home prices stayed remarkably resilient
• Buyers gained slightly more negotiating power
• Demand remained strongest in core Charlotte areas

Charlotte’s March numbers are out. Here’s the honest picture. 🏡

Pending sales rose 9.1% year over year, a solid sign that buyers are active, even with mortgage rates sitting between 6.1% and 6.3%. Inventory improved too, up 12.7%, but we’re still only at 3 months of supply.

Median sale price: $395,750. Sellers are still receiving 95.6% of list price. Pricing your home right continues to matter — buyers are paying attention.
