758 NE Quimby Ave just closed, and this one meant more to me than most.

My client was representing her daughter's estate. I lost my dad in 2023 and went through probate myself, so I understood exactly what she was carrying. My goal was to make this as easy as possible for her and protect as much of the estate's equity as I could.

It wasn't a straight line. Price drops, a seller credit, showings with no offers. My wife painted the shutters. I mowed the lawn before showings. We fixed what we could alongside contractors I trust. There was a point where the path forward looked uncertain.

Then Annie Wayland brought buyers who saw the home differently and wrote an offer that worked. Everyone came together and changed the outcome.

I got into this business to help people navigate buying and selling homes. Not every transaction looks the same, and there are real emotions on both sides. It feels good to bring a positive outcome to everyone involved on this one.

A few months ago, a Portland-area agent gave me a call. They’d just listed 2433 Hazelwood Ave in Redmond and were looking for someone local they could trust to help take care of their seller. We decided to co-list and tackle it together.

Wrapped up a closing today that really came down to one thing: getting the price right.

We launched in ‘Coming Soon’ and, even before we could get professional photos, the pricing strategy pulled in an over-asking offer from a serious buyer. From there, my job was to keep the process calm and straightforward so the seller didn’t feel overwhelmed on the way to closing.
