Hey family I wanted to give a quick market update for metro Detroit. I know real estate is hard to gauge nationally or even statewide because its specific to neighborhood by neighborhood even in the same city. However, if you know me im a straight shooter and I like to give you information that will help you make the best possible decision you can make when having to make one of the biggest transactions of your life.

I came across an article this morning that caught my attention. Nationally, asking prices have been declining for months, and more homes are hitting the market. So I took the liberty to look at some local data to see
What that mean for Metro Detroit. What I found was buyers may have more opportunities than they've had in a while.
More inventory means more choices. More choices means less pressure. And less pressure can mean better negotiations.
Now, before anyone says the market is crashing—let's be clear.
Homes are still selling. Good homes are still moving. And well-priced homes are still attracting serious buyers.
