Realtors are required to take one continuing education course every year on fair housing law. It’s that important.
And still, every year across the country, there are numerous violations of the Fair Housing Act.
I can’t imagine that some total of these grants amounts to more than a dust bunny in the federal budget. Cutting funding for these organizations seems truly shortsighted.

A shift in grant requirements would curtail fair housing investigations, according to a new lawsuit.
