Sometimes the road is bright and beautiful.

Sometimes it’s steep, confusing, lonely, and darker than you ever expected.

But don’t mistake a difficult season for a wasted one.

Some of the greatest growth in your life will happen in places you would have never chosen for yourself. The setbacks. The waiting. The disappointment. The moments where you can’t quite see what God is doing yet.

Even the darkest stretch of the journey eventually gives way to light.

And maybe the goal isn’t simply to “get through” what you’re facing. Maybe this season is shaping you, strengthening you, refining you, and moving you one step closer to the person He is designing you to become.

So don’t rush past today trying to get to some imaginary finish line.

Look around.

Learn from it.
Grow through it.
Trust Him in it.

Your journey is beautiful, even the parts you wouldn’t have written for yourself.

And one day, you may look back and realize the hardest parts of the road were the very places where God did some of His best work in you.

Keep going. You’re becoming. 🙏

Success means very little if you never make time to actually enjoy the life you’re working so hard to build.

I’m a big believer that business should support your life, not consume it.

That’s why I love coaching agents and leaders to work with more intention, create more freedom, and build something that funds the life they really want.

Sometimes “off the clock” is actually one of the most important parts of staying sharp, staying grateful, and staying grounded.

Work smarter. Play more. Live better.

A great teacher is really just a professional student with better snacks. 😂

The more I teach, the more I’m reminded that the people who grow the most aren’t the ones who have all the answers, they’re the ones who keep asking better questions, stay curious, and remain coachable.

Leadership doesn’t mean graduating from learning. It means becoming even more intentional about it.

So yes, I’ll keep teaching. But I also plan to keep sitting in rooms where I’m not the smartest person in them.

Because the best leaders never stop being students.

Some of y’all don’t need another productivity hack.

You need to stop doing 37 things badly and start doing 3 things ridiculously well. 😂

Because “working harder” can become a very socially acceptable form of avoiding the work that actually matters.

More hours.
More meetings.
More tabs open.
More caffeine.
More chaos.

And somehow… not more results.

Here’s the shift:

Stop asking, “How can I do more?”

Start asking, “What are the few things that actually move the needle?”

The right conversations.
The right relationships.
The right systems.
The right actions.

Then get borderline unreasonable about protecting your time for those things.

Busy is not a badge of honor.

Results > exhaustion.
Focus > frenzy.
Intentional > impressive.

Stop working harder.

Start working smarter.

And maybe close 26 of those browser tabs while you’re at it. 😏

Another week in the books and another reminder of how much GOOD can fit into seven days when you actually take the time to notice it.

This week included exploring the incredible beauty of Providence Canyon, enjoying some amazing food at Animal Farm, and getting to lead the very first session of our Elevate Speakers Academy, something I’ve been looking forward to bringing to life for a long time.

Different experiences. Different people. Different moments.

But all of them worth remembering.

I’ve become a big believer in taking a few minutes at the end of each week to look back before immediately rushing into what’s next.

Because life moves FAST.

We’re so conditioned to focus on the next goal, the next meeting, the next accomplishment, or the next problem to solve that we can completely miss how much we’ve already been given.

Reflection creates gratitude.

Gratitude creates perspective.

And perspective reminds us that some of the things filling our calendars today are things we once hoped, prayed, and worked for.

So before you charge into another week, take a minute.

Look back through your pictures.
Think about the conversations.
Remember the laughs.
Celebrate the progress.
Notice the people you got to impact and the people who poured into you.

You might just realize you’re living through some pretty incredible days.

Here’s to building a life that can sustain success without losing what matters most. 🙏

Every night there by your bed
You fold your hands and bow your head
Throwing out another prayer in faith
When you're wondering if He's hearing you
Look at me, I'm living proof
I'm only right where I am today
Because somebody prayed

HI, I’M DEVIN. 👋

If you’re new here, I figured it was time I introduced myself.

I’m a husband. A dad. A man of faith. A leader, coach, speaker, entrepreneur, and a recovering REALTOR®.

But more than any title, I’m someone who believes people are capable of far more than they often believe about themselves.

For the last 20 years, I’ve had the privilege of developing people and leaders.

Along the way, that has looked like:

• 4,000+ hours coaching, training, teaching, and developing people
• 1,200+ one-on-one coaching sessions
• 800+ leadership meetings facilitated
• 290+ classes and trainings delivered
• 500+ people interviewed
• 300+ people hired

But those numbers aren't really the story.

The people are.

I've watched people discover confidence they didn't know they had. I've watched leaders emerge. Careers change. Businesses grow. Families gain opportunities. And I've watched people begin to believe that their life could be bigger than their current circumstances.

I've also learned something through my own successes, failures, rebuilding, and growth:

Success isn't enough.

You have to become someone capable of carrying it.

Because I don't want to build a successful business and lose my family.

I don't want financial freedom at the expense of my health.

I don't want achievement without purpose.

And I certainly don't want to gain the world while losing my faith.

That's what I'm building my life around now and it's what I want to help other people build too:

A life that can sustain success without losing what matters most.

So if you're here for leadership, business, personal growth, faith, relationships, real estate, a little golf, some hard-earned lessons, and probably a few opinions I should've kept to myself... 😂

Welcome.

I'm Devin.

I'm still building. Still learning. Still becoming.

And I'm glad you're here.

Sometimes we fall into good, so we stop pursuing great. Great businesses, great lives, great relationships great health all in the name of mediocrity and comfort. Choose better for you and those around you! You have the power to be GREAT!
Comment ONE THING that God has entrusted in you that you will pursue with relentless passion, because only you can!

Let's GO!
