Homes averaged 2.5 offers, and 21% sold above asking price. While homes still took longer to sell compared to last year, the average days on market dropped to 32 days, a solid improvement from March.

The market is still moving, buyers are still active, and well priced homes are getting attention.

One in three homeowners in the 100 largest metros, about 17.5 million people, pays monthly HOA or condo fees, and at least 2.6 million pay over $500 a month, according to a new LendingTree report. "When you're paying $500 or more a month, that's a really big deal," said LendingTree analyst Matt Schulz. "That's money that can't go to other financial priorities."
