5 teams in 3 years. One opportunity in the final preseason game. Cody Schrader made the most of it! Leading rusher, 6 of 6 receiving for 90 yards and a TD. He was released on Sunday, but was back with the team Monday on the practice squad. The Broncos have depth in talent and character!

27 women. One room. A lot of life, laughs and stories!

What a power crowd of women who work in sports! Our biggest gathering yet, celebrating promotions, returners, new faces, old friendships and most importantly, supporting each other. 👏🏻

There’s something pretty special about women in this industry coming together, cheering each other on, sharing a few laughs and reminding each other that there’s room for all of us to succeed.

Thank you Lyndsey Spano and DNVR Sports Bar (Colfax & York) for giving us the space to make it happen and our national superstar cynthia frelund for taking the time to stop by while she was in town. ❤️

Remember when Sean Payton wrote “RUN IT!!!” on the top of his play sheet? I think I’ll write “SMILE!!!” at the top of my clipboard 😂

There were some smiles, including with Claudie Minor 😊 Definitely ready to wrap up the preseason!

My first sideline report from the field is right before kickoff. For home games that usually means catching up with the Broncos Alumni Honorary Captain as he walks off the field. It’s quick and I have to keep an eye on the kickoff team while doing the interview. I could have listened to Claudie Minor’s stories forever, but we had to make it fast. It was great to see the longtime offensive lineman. Claudie was drafted in 1974 and started at left tackle his rookie year. He played 98 consecutive games before he missed one due to injury and spent 9 seasons with the Broncos. Thanks Claudie!
