First-time buyers, your remote job might give you a homebuying advantage you haven't thought about.

If you can work from anywhere, you can buy just about anywhere, too. And searching in a lower-cost area could mean more homes within your budget. It could also mean spending less on everyday things like gas and groceries after your move.

These states are some of the spots where your money may go the furthest, but they aren't your only options. Every state has pockets with better affordability.

What a great car show! Classic cars lined the street in front of our office and down some side streets too! Big shout-out to the city, volunteers from Charles Town Now, and the major event sponsors, TireVille & Charles Town Car Show, and the many other sponsors, like our very own client and friend, Guy of Guy’s GMC!

BTW, this is an annual tradition around here, so if you missed it, no worries. It will doubtless be back in 2027 (we recommend following Charles Town Car Show on FB). But 'til then, here are a few pictures we snapped for you. =)

Everyone's been watching mortgage rates. But there's another trend buyers shouldn't overlook…

Every fall, the housing market tends to shift as buyer activity often slows down. As demand softens, so do prices.

Sellers should be prepared to start with an asking price that might not be as high as imagined. And they should be prepared to negotiate. For buyers, this is actually a great time to shop around!
