 A client of mine & I, were discussing that during our showing I had checked out the crawlspace.. and it has been brought to my attention that very low percentage of real estate agents actually do this. I’ve crawled in many crawlspaces!! I mean not the ones that are muddy and you physically have to crawl in.. but if I can at least squat walk and check out floor joists and what not, I almost always go in.
A crawlspace can tell you a lot of secrets about a house, and can give you a really good perspective on the quality of the build. If I’m representing a buyer, I find it incredibly important to look at these things before they spend their money on a home inspection.
 If you’re a real estate agent reading this, don’t be scared! They’re not as scary as you think.. and sometimes your buyer’s dad might have a headlamp and go with you 😂
