If selling your home is on your fall to-do list, a little preparation now can make a big difference later.
Here are three things I discuss with every seller before we list a home in September.
**1️⃣ We build a pricing strategy based on today’s market.**
The real estate market is always changing. Rather than relying on what homes sold for a few months ago, we look at current market conditions, recent comparable sales, and buyer demand to determine a competitive price.
**2️⃣ We focus on first impressions.**
As the seasons change, so does curb appeal. Cleaning up landscaping, refreshing the entryway, and making sure your home photographs well can help create a great first impression online and in person.
**3️⃣ We make a plan before listing day.**
Preparing your home, scheduling professional photography, and choosing the right time to launch all play an important role in attracting buyers. The more we prepare in advance, the smoother the process tends to be.
Every seller’s situation is different, and every local market has its own trends. That’s why I believe a personalized strategy is always better than a one-size-fits-all approach.
If you’re thinking about selling this fall, I’d be happy to talk through what the process could look like for your home.
