For the past three days, I’ve been grieving the loss of a beautiful soul who transitioned to heaven.
When I first started in real estate, she trusted me—really trusted me. It wasn’t a starter home. It was a higher price point, and she knew I was new. Still, she chose me.
I remember telling her, “Whatever the seller pays is fine—I won’t take anything from you.”
She stopped me and said, “No ma’am.”
She signed my buyer agency agreement at my full rate and told me something I’ll never forget:
“Never negotiate yourself down. You’re going to put in the work. I want to invest in you and your business.”
That was her—always pouring into me. Even before real estate, back when I was at a job I hated, she encouraged me.
From BellSouth days to becoming her Realtor, she was always more than a client. She was a friend.
