This is great news!!! Preparing to buy a house shouldn’t have to involve using credit cards! It is possible to buy a house with no credit score (which you know if you follow Dave Ramsey), but only select mortgage companies do manual underwriting. It’s crazy that rental history and utilities haven’t always been considered, but great that will be now!

Tens of millions of prospective homebuyers may soon qualify for mortgages due to new rules. Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac's changes include on-time rent and utility payments in credit score calculations.

Met a new client today. Our animal sanctuary came up (not uncommon, especially because I donate 10% of my commission to the sanctuary). He said, “How do you stay so clean? There’s no way you have 30 something animals!” I’m so happy my shower was successful in making me no longer smell like a farm animal! 😂😂😂. I told him I was on a tractor this morning (I had to move a round bale over). It’s nice to know I can clean myself up sufficiently for real estate business. Overall the meeting went super well. I will hopefully be listing his ADORABLE log cabin in 2 to 3 months as his new home is finished being built. Now to swing by Tractor Supply for donkey and chicken food.

Yes, I still sell real estate!! Sometimes adding in social media on top of taking care of my clients and running a nonprofit farm sanctuary with my husband can be challenging. It's not because I'm not over here working! Just got my client under contract on his DREAM house (you should see the views!!!) that we have been looking for for over a year! He had a house he needed to sell to be able to make the purchase of the dream home. I was able to also get him under contract on his current home simultaneously!
