Winning Best Multi-Family Renovation, we oversaw the sweeping renovation of our project in Downtown Pittsburgh, Encore Apartments, transforming common areas and living spaces with contemporary finishes, curated artwork, and sophisticated design. The thoughtful and creative repositioning of the 2006 design has elevated the building to be one of the Cultural District's premier luxury multi-family communities, ideally located with sweeping views of the city and a refined resident experience.

In a deal brokered by McCaffery, the first official Formula 1® hospitality concept will make its Chicago debut at the iconic corner of State and Grand in River North. As well as an immersive and social racing experience, the Chicago location will house multiple full-motion racing simulators, an exclusive menu of Chicago-inspired speciality cocktails, and introduce the FIRST F1® Arcade rooftop experience!

Happy 100th Anniversary to the spectacular Uptown Theatre - Chicago! This “astounding work of architecture and art, rendered on an immense scale” is a treasure for the Uptown neighborhood and the City of Chicago. In partnership with Jerry Mickelson, McCaffery is proud to be the development manager to restore this “palace of dreams” for the next 100 years!

The Southside Community Optimal Redevelopment Enterprise (SCORE), a community development entity (CDE) controlled by McCaffery Interests, Inc., is thrilled to announce it has been awarded $50 million in New Markets Tax Credits (NMTC) from the 2023 U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFI) Fund. First funded in 2012, SCORE has received $370 million in awards to date, which has financed 55 businesses, supported the creation and retention of more than 6,500 jobs, and provided services to more than 150,000 individuals in Illinois and Indiana.

Originally known as the Standard Underground Cable Company building, 1600 Smallman in 's Strip District has undergone a massive transformation. Built in 1921 and redeveloped by McCaffery 100 years later, today 1600 Smallman is home to Aurora Innovation and Balvanera.
