Tuesday Community Spotlight — Bronzeville
Alright, Chicago… today we’re talking Bronzeville.
This is one of those neighborhoods where you can’t just drive through and say, “Nice houses.”
You’ve gotta slow down and actually look around.
Bronzeville has played a major role in Chicago’s history — known for its culture, music, architecture, businesses and some pretty important chapters in the story of our city.
And then there are the homes.
The greystones, brownstones, brick two-flats and classic Chicago architecture give Bronzeville a character you just can’t recreate in a brand-new development.
Beautiful homes. Serious architecture. Real Chicago character.
What I really like about Bronzeville is that it’s not stuck in the past.
You’ve got longtime residents and businesses right alongside new restaurants, new development, rehabs, new homeowners and investors.
Old school meets new school.
And from my Realtor side of things, I pay attention to neighborhoods like this.
Because sometimes the best opportunities aren’t the neighborhoods everybody is already talking about.
They’re the ones where you can see the change happening right in front of you.
So if you live in Bronzeville, grew up there, work there, or just spend time there…
What’s your Bronzeville spot?
Restaurant? Bar? Coffee shop? Favorite building? Hidden gem?
Let me know. I’m always looking for places I need to check out.
And if you’re thinking about buying, selling or investing anywhere in Chicago, give me a call. We’ll talk real estate like normal people — no sales pitch required.
