Buy it, download it to your kindle, listen to it, check it out at the library; this one is a good one.

The entire book is comprised of letters & emails from, and to, the main character over several years and was so engrossing! I felt like I was peering in on bits and pieces of someone's life from a distance - only being told what the writers told us - but so intimately at the same time.

Can't recommend this one enough! I listened on Audible & the voice actors were really good; a good one to listen to!

Pembroke is a small town in Giles County known as the "Gateway to the Cascades" and is known for outdoor recreation, mountain views, hiking, the Cascade Falls, and Mountain Lake lodge (made famous by the movie Dirty Dancing). It's proximity to Blacksburg and Virginia Tech, but more rural feel, also make it a popular area!

🏠The housing market predominantly rural but still diverse. Pembroke has great neighborhoods, some new construction, stately downtown homes, and farm homesteads.
