Main Loan Program Types:

After bottoming out at around 6.5% in late June, mortgage rates moved steadily higher this month, ultimately hitting 6.85% last Thursday! The highest in over a year! But don't worry! You can still afford to purchase a home!

What does this mean for a potential buyer!?

What are points?
"DISCOUNT POINTS" are prepaid interest paid at closing to lower your mortgage interest rate, which ultimately reduces your monthly mortgage payment.

Cost: One point on a $200,000 loan equals $2,000 (1%). Buying a discount point usually lowers your interest rate by a set amount, such as 0.25%.

Real estate is definitely what you make it! I thought that before I became a Realtor that the leads would "fall in my lap." And I would surely be a "top seller" in no time! And while these things are possible, you have to put in the work! You also have to know that your clients are more than likely not going to be "close friends" or family members! I also understand today, that I have to continuously remind the people I come in contact with that I am a Realtor! Last week I reminded a few people, and this week I have a client (under contract), with several property needs! It's a tiresome process for sure! And you find yourself working 7 days a week! It's crazy, because I thought obtaining the licensure was the hard part! Little did I know that this struggle was just the beginning! lol. It definitely pays off in the long run though! I'm excited about this new chapter of my life for sure! This little token of appreciation (in the gold box) is just a reminder that my due diligence is soon to pay off! 🙌🏽😁🙏🏽
