May is Lyme Disease Awareness Month, and this one is very personal for me. 💚

I first found out I had Lyme disease in 2021, and it completely changed the way I live. As someone who loves being outside, showing homes, walking properties, and enjoying the North Carolina weather, being outside is something I now take seriously every single day.

A few simple reminders can make such a big difference:
• Wear light-colored clothing so ticks are easier to spot (they can be tiny!)
• Stick to the middle of trails when walking outdoors
• Wear long pants and closed-toe shoes when possible
• Use bug spray/tick repellent
• Always do a tick check after being outside, even after a quick walk
Early awareness matters, and so does sharing information. If this post helps even one person catch the signs early or be a little more careful outside, it’s worth sharing. 💚

Seeing Hamilton brought back so many memories of my theater days 💜 My first show was Anne of Green Gables in 10th grade, right around the time of the great purple hair debacle (thankfully there’s no photo evidence 😂). What started after a wrist injury forced me to step away from piano turned into years of community theater, college theater, costume shop memories, and some of my favorite experiences ever.

One of my favorite roles was Beauty in Beauty and the Beast… though I still love joking that I played the Beast 😂 Theater will always have such a special place in my heart.

A little full circle moment 🎶

Mike and I got to see Sting last night at Red Hat, and it actually takes me all the way back to 1996… the very first concert we ever went to together! 🥹

I haven’t seen him live since, so I’m extra excited for this one. His style has always spoken to the classically trained musician in me 🤍

We made sure to snap a photo this time 😉
