My clients who are siblings were referred to me by my past client. They were so ecstatic to start hunting for their dream home. The key features they were looking for were a spacious living area and a spacious backyard. We began viewing a few resale homes, but there were no match. After a few days later my clients asked about looking into new model homes. I then reached out to my favorite builder, American Richmond Home and they mentioned they had a few lots available. We checked out the new model home and the lot. We walked down to the lot and it was just a coincidence that it was on the same street as his family friend, which was in the process of building as well. Without hesitation, my clients wanted to start the process, but we were a few hours late, and another buyer had started the application process. We told the builder to keep us posted if there are any changes as we resume our hunting. A few days later, I received a text from the builder that the buyer who had applied couldn’t qualify.
