Maybe today is the day you make your first drop to one of Evanston’s Community Fridges?!? Evanston Community Fridges is a mutual aid organization that benefits people who need food (which is all of us!) They operate with the motto “take what you need, leave what you can”. Today I packed up delicious leftover catered food from a party, labeled it & dropped it to the Soul Fridge (fun fact, it is located at 1600 Payne, outside of Soul & Smoke, which just recently opened their long awaited full service dining room 🥳) I always save grocery bags to drop off when I bring food to the fridges, it makes it easier for guests to take what they need home!

Let's savor the crisp air (we hope!!), the scent of apples & pumpkin spice everything, and the beauty of nature's annual grand finale. Happy first day of fall, all! 🍂✨What do you & your family love to do in the fall? We like apple & pumpkin picking, raking leaves (kids love to jump into them!) outdoor fires with s'mores. I am a BIG fan of the transition to jeans & boots once it is cool enough. Lastly- it is also time to say Happy Birthday to my sister in law!

They are always the experts on mortgage rates ❤️To be clear- the Federal interest rate is not directly correlated to rates on a mortgage product like a 30 year fixed. Rates of HELOCs (home equity line of credit) are more directly correlated to the fed rate. I always lean on our Key Mortgage loan officers for up to date info on all things interest rate related!

What a wonderfully tiring, satisfying, meaningful, sweaty day I had with my Baird & Warner | Chicago Real Estate colleagues at a Habitat for Humanity build site in Woodstock! It is not an average Friday if I’m wielding a nail gun alongside Iwona Radon at 8:30am 😆Such fun working together to do rough framing on interior walls of this house which, over the coming months, will become a home to a local family! It will have 3 beds/1 bath on the 2nd floor along with a primary bedroom & another full bath on the first floor! Carpooling up there with Debbie Adamson Rymaszewski Terje Reedy & Marie Hirschle. Baird & Warner made the day even more fun!! Always grateful to be a part of a company that takes service & philanthropy seriously ❤️❤️Until next time!!

I’m so excited to be en route to Woodstock, IL to participate in my first ever Habitat for Humanity build with my lovely Baird & Warner | Chicago Real Estate coworkers!!
