Our hot take on buying new construction in Lee County! 😅

New builds can be a GREAT option. But if your plan is to buy now just to stop renting and sell again in a year or two, think about this:

• The same model may still be available brand new down the street
• Builders may be offering incentives you can’t compete with as a resale
• Prices could potentially be lower when you’re ready to sell
• Closing costs can eat into the equity you thought you’d build

We’re NOT anti new construction. We’re anti buying with false expectations!

THEY DID IT! 🥳🎉

We’ve known these two for years and their whole family means so much to us!

They actually met through Kristen, Kristen ended up marrying them last year (despite having never married anyone a day in her life 😂), and now here we are celebrating another HUGE milestone with them… they’re officially homeowners!

And this one definitely didn’t happen overnight.

They started the pre-approval process over a year ago when they first got serious about buying, but ultimately decided to give it a little more time.

Then, when the timing was right, they jumped!

They found a property that was exactly what they needed for their family, their future and their business… and they even secured the lot next door!

More than anything, we’re just really proud of these two and everything they’ve accomplished together. We can’t wait to see what they do with this place and where life takes them next!

And a special shoutout to Katie Smith, The Lending Lady, for being AMAZING to work with once again! 👏

To our transaction coordinator, Kaylee, for keeping all of us in line and everything moving behind the scenes!

Congrats to our buyers on securing the land to build their dream! 🥳

We’ve known these buyers for quite some time through family friends, and one of them even previously held a real estate license. So the fact that they trusted our team with such a big purchase for their family and their future means a lot to us.

They had two options in mind: find a home already built on acreage with enough room to add another home someday, or find enough land to build the future family compound they envisioned, all while keeping their daily commute manageable.

There were properties that looked like they could work, a few things we caught along the way that made us keep looking, and eventually 55 acres in North Fort Myers that checked the boxes.

And after some negotiating, they purchased it for $150,000 under list price!
