🏡 One thing my clients learn quickly… my support doesn’t stop at closing.
Over the last few weeks, I spent time helping several of my clients protest their property taxes at no charge — because homeownership is more than buying and selling.
On average, we were able to reduce assessed property values by around $15,000, and one homeowner who had never protested before saw a reduction of $52,000.
A quick reminder: your county appraisal value is not the same as market value. When selling, we want your home value as high as possible. For tax purposes, we want the county’s assessed value as low as reasonably possible.
The deadline to protest this year has passed, but this is one of the many ways I help support my clients long after the transaction.
Because who you work with matters — before, during, and after closing. 💙
