I’m so thankful to my clients for trusting me to help them navigate buying and selling, and so thankful for our incredible team at Kentucky Land and Home —especially Lyndsey Martin, Realtor and Michelle Bishop - Realtor! 🩵

Ultimately though, this whole transaction was one of those moments where you can see God’s hand at work!

Lyndsey was planning to host an open house on her new listing but her little girl was sick. I felt like I needed to step in and told her I’d be happy to take care of it.

At that open house, I met a family who immediately fell in love with the home. They loved it—but they hadn’t even thought about selling their current home yet.

The next day I go to their current home for a listing appointment. We talk about listing strategies, prepping their home to have it ready to list, staging it for pictures and showings, and what the buying and selling timeline could look like. They decide they want to put an offer in on the new home. That night, we’re under contract!

Fast forward just four days and their current home was officially on the market. Three days after that, their home was under contract!

There were still plenty of details to work through, but just over one month after that open house, we closed on both homes back-to-back at the Kentucky Land and Home office!

I know this was a long winded post all to say sometimes God puts you exactly where you’re supposed to be! If I hadn’t felt that nudge to step in and host that open house, this entire story may have looked completely different. To God be all the glory!

March brought strong momentum to the market 📊

Rising sales and steady price growth pushed total real estate volume to $324 million for the month, up 7% from last year. Year to date, transactions have reached $880 million, an 11% increase compared to 2025.

“Price growth remained steady but not overheated, which is encouraging for long term market stability,” said Inman. “We’re moving toward a healthier balance where both buyers and sellers can find opportunity, and buyers aren’t feeling as rushed to decide.”
