🏡 That’s exactly why a repair walkthrough matters when buying a new construction home.
While helping a buyer with a new construction home, our team discovered that several items from the inspection report had not been completed before the initial builder walk., our team discovered that several items from the inspection report had not been completed. Instead of leaving our client stressed and hoping everything would be handled by closing, we followed up with the builder and scheduled a separate repair walkthrough.
We went back through the home, checked the inspection items one by one, and confirmed that the repairs had been completed, with only a couple of minor items left to address.
Buying a brand-new home doesn’t mean you should skip the inspection or assume everything is finished. Having the right representation means someone is following up, verifying the work, and making sure your concerns are addressed before you get to the closing table.
✅ Inspect before the initial builder walk
✅ Verify that agreed repairs are completed
✅ Follow up on anything still outstanding
✅ Check the property again before closing
That’s how we help protect our clients and give them confidence going into closing.
