As spring-time is upon us, I feel myself drawn outside and drawn to craft our little piece of the world in our own backyard.

This year, I had the idea of adding some plants in pots and adding these pots into the river rocked areas.

I've been having a lot of fun lately buying second-hand so I picked up a few pots last week at the Lafayette Flea Market. It's one of my favorite local spots and it's been totally re-vamped the last couple of years. If you haven't checked it out lately, it's worth a visit. They have everything you could possibly need as far as housewares go.

With pots in hand, Scarlett and I went to go pick out a few plants at Ace Hardware. We got some pansies and a geranium, some snapdragons, and I already had a packet of wildflower seeds.

We got our plants planted, seeds planted in pots too, and just today some tiny little wildflowers are popping up through the soil. Will they grow well in pots? This remains to be seen.
