PDX September Market Update 🏡✨

Inventory has increased to 4.2 months and average days on market increased to 68 days. Homes are taking longer to sell and we have had less solds. Overall YTD we are still up 2.3%. From collecting feedback on showings it seems that there is less buyer urgency and they are being pickier than ever. For sellers it is worth the prep to showcase as move-in ready as possible.

August brought a slower pace of activity as we head toward fall, with fewer new listings -18.8% and closed sales -12.2% compared to July. Inventory increased to 3.8 months, while homes spent an average of 57 days on the market.

At the same time, year-to-date sales remain slightly ahead of last year, showing a market that continues to shift rather than stand still.
