🙌 5 things I swear by:
1. Swap basic lighting. A classy statement lamp, sconce or pendant can completely change a room— even if everything else stays exactly the same. Lowe’s and Home Depot have nice stuff at good prices!
2. Hang your curtains HIGH. Take them up toward the ceiling and let them actually reach the floor. Instant upgrade.
3. Change the hardware. Cabinet k***s, pulls, door hardware-even a pretty switch plate. These tiny details have way more visual impact than their size would suggest.
4. Frame the personal stuff. Family photos, kids' art, something you found on a trip—put it in a pretty frame and let it live alongside the "real" art.
5. Stop trying to match everything. Mix woods. Mix metals. Mix old with new. Let things be collected slowly. The rooms that feel the most intentional rarely look like they were bought in one afternoon.
