🆙 ⬆️ Home prices increased in 71% of metro areas across the country during the first quarter of the year, with some markets seeing double-digit gains. According to National Association of REALTORS®Chief Economist Dr. Lawrence Yun, the strongest price growth continues in the Northeast and Midwest, where inventory remains tight and affordability is still attractive. San Jose, CA. (My Home Town) remained the most expensive metro area in the nation, with a median home price of $2.03 million. Salt Lake City ranked as the 31st most expensive metro area out of the 230 markets tracked nationwide.
