In 2006, my mom, Alice Nuzzo,and I, along with an incredible group of experienced agents, helped launchSereno Group's Los Altos office. As the newspaper wrote at the time, we believed that small could be beautiful—that a boutique brokerage built on professionalism, integrity, community involvement, and relationships could thrive.
I was honored to co-manage the Los Altos office alongside Chris Trapani as we introduced a different kind of real estate company—one that valued people over production and purpose over profit. We believed that experience mattered, that serving our community mattered, and that doing business the right way would always be the best strategy.
Looking back, it's amazing to see how that vision has grown over the past 20 years. What started as a small boutique brokerage has become one of the most respected real estate companies in Northern California, while staying true to the values that inspired us from the beginning.
I'm especially grateful to have shared this journey with my mom, whose leadership and reputation helped shape not only my career but the culture of excellence we were proud to build together.
