Alex is an alumni of the University of California at Berkeley, and a graduate of the Influence and Negotiation Strategies Program at Stanford University. Alex and his wife Lily currently reside in Los Altos, California with their three children. His family has a continued focus in giving back to the local community through non-profit and charity work. In his spare time, Alex enjoys playing poker, rock climbing, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

What’s gonna happen to the market?

It’s easy.

It’s either gonna go up or down.

I don’t predict the market and neither should you.

I want to break the establishment.

There’s a lot of people trying but I don’t think they’re doing it well.

You have Redfin , Zillow , and many discount brokerages that don’t value agents at all.

Then you have the bigger companies that have a lot of agents and a lot of market share but there’s no innovation.

There’s gotta be something in the middle that must provide value to real estate agents and also be able to innovate.

Have you ever heard of the idea that you team has to be small enough that it can be fed by two full size pizzas? 🍕

I’ve been challenged to apply this principle to Rainmaker Real Estate.

Instead of focusing on headcount (like many other brokerages) Nancy Reynolds and I have really tried to focus on bringing in the right people creating mentorship programs that build up agents to then build their own teams.

We’re only two years in but excited for the next 20-30 years 😉
