Something to think about …

In 1971, the interest rate for a mortgage was 7.33% (for my first home in 1979 it was 14%).
If you waited for interest rates to go down, you wouldn’t have purchased a home until 1993. You would have rented it for 22 years waiting for rates to go down.
Meanwhile, the value of real estate quadrupled.

Don’t wait to buy real estate. Buy real estate and wait.

Marry the house, date the rate.

🌟 Eight years ago, I joined TTR Sotheby’s International Realty, a company that embodies true excellence, not just in business, but in life.
At that time, I wasn’t sure what the future would hold. I could not have made a better move. I am surrounded by the most professional and helpful colleagues, who I can call friends. 🌟

A very telling graphic from our TTR Sothebys sales meeting this week, reflecting home inventory in the mid-Atlantic.

🔷 In spite of the decrease since 2019, inventory is currently larger than in 2021 & 2022, because homes are taking longer to sell
🔷 Far fewer homes are coming on the market this spring, leading to significant competition
🔷 Prices continue to climb moderately

If you thinking of selling your home, now is the time to do it. There is just not enough inventory.
