I’m so excited—and ridiculously proud—to finally share that my mom, Sandra Ellis Lafferty, will have a recurring role in AMC’s upcoming series Thunder Road, starring Dennis Quaid! 🏁🎬

She has spent decades quietly bringing unforgettable characters to life, from Walk the Line and The Hunger Games to Prisoners and so many others—and she’s still doing what she loves. Watching her continue to chase the work that lights her up is pretty incredible.

Thunder Road follows a multigenerational NASCAR racing dynasty and will premiere on AMC and AMC+ in 2027. I can’t share anything about her character yet, but I’ll definitely be watching—and bragging. ❤️
