⚠️⚠️MOBILE COUNTY, Ala. – Winter Storm Advisory - 10 a.m. Jan. 21, 2025: Effective January 21, 2025, all roads and bridges in Mobile County should be considered IMPASSABLE until further notice. Members of the general public are advised that when roads and bridges become IMPASSABLE all travel should be suspended or delayed. Only emergency vehicles should travel on county roads and bridges until further notice. Mobile County Public Works will continue monitoring road conditions and an announcement will be made when this IMPASSABLE TRAVEL ADVISORY is lifted.⚠️⚠️

Saying thank you just does not seem enough for all the veterans and their families who sacrificed for our country. I am so grateful for the men and women who were and are willing to give their lives for our freedoms. My husband, brother, and some of my best friends are veterans and I am proud of them all for giving of themselves to serve our country. Being a military wife for 21 years was not always easy, but I am thankful we had the experience and were able to be a part of serving the best country in the world.

Did you know the University of South Alabama right here in Mobile has an Archeology Museum? It's 1 of 3 in all of the U.S. on college campuses. Harvard and Penn State have the others.
