S**g dancing is South Carolina’s unique version of swing dancing, and it’s a great way to get out and have fun.

Thousands of dancers will venture to North Myrtle Beach from September 18 - 27 to enjoy the live bands, lovely weather and the camaraderie of a shared enthusiasm.

The wild life can be truly wild here on the SC coast! Lorrie G Photography took this photo of roseate spoonbills and ibises teasing a young alligator at Huntington Beach State Park. Hope it doesn’t bear a grudge as it grows bigger 😳

Watching the variety of birds we have here, from eagles to seagulls to herons, swans and more, is so relaxing and such a change from life as I used to know it in more urban areas.

And yes, be respectful of alligators and their ways.
