Taking a brief break from the hockey mom posts… 🏒

While I’m always proud of the boys (Dave included), today I’m taking a moment to reflect on something I’m proud of myself for as well.

When I stepped away from my legal career and into real estate, I had no idea where the journey would lead. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of helping more than 125 families buy and sell their own slice of paradise in Southwest Florida.

What sets me apart isn’t just my love of negotiations or my determination to get the best possible outcome for my clients (although I do like putting that law degree to good use 😉). It’s my commitment to every single person who trusts me with one of the biggest decisions of their lives.

There have been countless sleepless nights worrying about clients, contracts, inspections, financing, and every detail of every transaction. I’ve never been someone who looks for shortcuts. I was raised to believe that hard work, integrity, and going the extra mile are what truly set you apart. Those values built my legal career, and they’ve built my real estate business as well.

I firmly believe that when you do right by people, God rewards you in ways you never expect. My business has been built on relationships, referrals, trust, and hard work…and for that, I am incredibly grateful.

So thank you to every client, friend, family member, colleague, and supporter who has believed in me, trusted me, referred me, and encouraged me along the way. I don’t take any of it for granted.

Today, I opened an email that reminded me that all the hard work, sacrifice, and dedication have been worth it. I am humbled, grateful, and more motivated than ever to continue serving this amazing community.

It’s taken me a couple weeks to write this because if you know me… you know how close I am to my boys. So if you’re at Costco, feel free to grab me some Kleenex 🤍

Paxton is heading back to his hometown to play 18U AAA with HoneyBaked Hockey next season. Completely unexpected- and I’ll never forget getting that text from him at a combine saying he had multiple tenders from junior teams all over the country. Yes… I absolutely screamed and cried in the middle of Magic Kingdom.

After doing his (very detailed) research, he knew this was the right fit - surrounded by family, friends, and a place to keep growing.

We couldn’t be more proud… but wow, the house is going to feel different without the constant Xbox noise and pucks flying in the garage. This is a huge step, and he’s earned every bit of it.

For the parents heading into tryouts next week—chasing the “A”… chase the coach. The politics are real. Paxton only played four years of travel (starting at the bottom of 14U because they needed players), and the right coaching made all the difference. His grit and drive to always get better is what got him these offers—not worrying about what letter team he was on.

So proud of what Dave and his 16U team built—undefeated their first year and fewer than five losses in 60+ games last season. The work these boys put in is incredible, and it’s showing with the opportunities they’re earning and contracts being signed this week.

When I had Paxton, everyone told me, “It goes so fast.” Turns out they were right…

I woke up today with Paxton turning 16, which feels impossible considering I swear we just brought him home from the NICU.

He’s still as motivated as ever and somehow harder on himself than anyone I know. His current obsessions? Hockey, hockey, and - just to be clear - hockey. He loves being on the ice, loves his teammates, loves his brother, and I think Dave and I fall somewhere on that list too.

He has a level of GRIT people dream about. He’s stepped into leadership, pushed himself outside his comfort zone, and still finds the energy to talk nonstop at 6:30 in the morning (send help). He sets big goals for himself - and if anyone can reach them, it’s him.

Happy 16th birthday to the one who made me a mom, made coffee a necessity, and made life way more fun. 💙

What a whirlwind of the last few months!!

I’ve been with John R. Wood Properties for two years now, and I can honestly say I love what I do. Working for a company that puts family first and supports me through every hurdle is a true blessing.

People keep insisting the market is crashing… yet in the last 60 days I’ve closed 11 properties - many at record-breaking prices.

🏡 In Delasol-
I sold 5 properties in the last few months, including:
• The highest sale ever in the history of the community
• The highest price per square foot
• The highest rental rate - yes, that too!

And all of this happening while juggling real life:
• Serving as HOA President
• Managing both of my boys’ hockey teams
• Negotiating contracts in between “cheering” them on from the stands
• All fueled by the simple truth: I HATE to lose. That competitive fire is what makes me fight harder for my clients.

From beachfront condos to golf communities, investment homes to winter escapes, I’ve had the privilege of guiding buyers and sellers through some amazing transitions.

This month, I’m incredibly proud to officially hold the #1 spot. Not because of a big team - but because of hard work, late nights, fierce dedication, and yes… control issues I’m not letting go of anytime soon.

This team continues to make me proud! 💚💙
They stepped up for their first showcase and went 3-1 and capped it off with an exciting OT win. But even more impressive is how they tune out the noise and show up TOGETHER. For a group of 16-year-old boys (and one 15-year-old!), their maturity, focus, and respect for the game is something special.

Huge shoutout to Coach Dave.. He is firm, respectful, and the first to believe the sky is the limit for every single kid. He pushes them but more importantly he believes in them. It’s not an easy job (plenty of sleepless nights!), but he’s a true rockstar of a leader and mentor. Seriously, can you ask for a better mentor?!

Paxton finished 2nd in points out of 350+ players and our team had FOUR players in the top 10! But the highlight for me was Wyatt making sure his brother got a hat for his hat trick. He is Paxton’s biggest cheerleader (even if I’m definitely the loudest one in the rink 😅).

These boys walked away stronger, united, and hungry for more. Now we have a few days of rest before some of them take on another tournament!

🔥 SWFL market is on 🔥 fire!

It’s a total myth that our market is tanking… my snowbirds are finding their dream homes ☀️ and my sellers are breaking records!!

September has been a blur of real estate, hockey rinks, and mom life 🏒

Proud to be one of the Top 5 Realtors in my brokerage… and the only one doing it solo 🙌 I never said I worked well as a team player 😂

Between managing two hockey teams, still on the HOA, being “Mom Uber,” and closing deals - maybe “multi-tasking” might be my superpower 🏆

Cheers to kicking off season! May it be full of nice weather, contracts and minimal traffic. 🥃🍸

I promised I’d get better at social media… and already dropped the ball 🤦‍♀️ It’s been a whirlwind in the Rohde house!

✨ Dave is still crushing it at work, traveling but somehow never missing a single hockey practice or game. He is still coaching both boys and loves every minute of it!

✨ Paxton started 10th grade with a tough schedule, is almost 16 (yes, driving 😱), and gearing up for a busy hockey season with lots of out-of-state showcases. If he could live at the rink.. he would.

✨ Wyatt kicked off middle school and is loving his new independence—not to mention his awesome hockey team this year.

✨ And me? Between Naples real estate (which is on fire 🔥), managing two hockey teams, HOA duties, appointments, dinners, and all the mom stuff… my Bravo binging time has been officially benched.

Here’s to another exciting snowbird + hockey season ahead 🏒☀️
