I've spent years moving people's homes, and I've learned there are a bunch of little things customers don't think about until moving day.

So I put together a quick list of things that can make your move easier:

• Don't wait until the last day to pack if you can help it. You can also hire our team to pack!

• Disassemble your beds and keep the hardware together. (We handle assembly and disassembly also!)

• Use extra paper for glassware. Also put paper inside the glasses

• Keep your dogs and cats in a separate room so they don’t get lost or get in the way of the movers.

• Have water ready for your movers.

• Tell your movers everything that's going, we start with a walkthrough before we move anything.

• Let your movers do their job.

These are just some of the things I've learned from being on the other side of the moving truck.

If you're getting ready to move, save this post and share it with someone who's moving! 🚚📦

One of the biggest moving day mistakes isn't forgetting a box... it's forgetting the essentials you'll need that first night.

What do most people forget on moving day? We recommend packing one "First Night Box" with:

📦 Medications
📦 Phone chargers
📦 Toiletries
📦 Paper towels
📦 Snacks
📦 Coffee ☕
📦 A change of clothes
📦 Pet supplies (if applicable) 🐾

You'll thank yourself after a long day of moving!

💬 What's one thing you forgot on moving day that you wish you'd packed first?
