On September 11, 2001, at around 8 in the morning, I was walking my dog Mars along the East River in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
It was an ordinary morning until I saw the first tower collapse.
I stood there completely stunned, trying to understand what my eyes were seeing. I remember thinking, Is this a war started?
Nothing about that moment felt real. Maybe I still sleeping and having a nightmare?
Then the second tower collapced. It was real, and it was scarry.
I will never forget that morning, the smoke in the sky, the confusion, the screams, and the terrible realization that America had just changed forever. Nothing ever going to be the same -me too.
I will never forget the morning of September 11th 2001
