Over the years we have helped the most chic developers create some of the most elegant buildings - and homes - to help form what is today WEST CHELSEA. We just signed a contract on the last unit at 500 West 22nd Street Park House Chelsea facing beautiful Clement Clarke Moore Park. The project was extremely slow to create and made more complex by having to be redesigned multiple times to satisfy local demands to blend in to the surrounding architecture, not to mention Covid related delays during construction. But our developers persevered and delivered the forerunner of QUIET LUXURY, that became a global trend. We introduced brilliant Selldorf Architects to the developer of 200 11th Avenue - the world famous “SKY GARAGE BUILDING” that the The New York Times termed as “Paparazzi-proof” in 2007 - once home to Mick Jagger. A first! Next door Steven Harris Architects designed his first residential ground up condo building, still one of the most elegant buildings in Manhattan with its limestone facade, French doors, Juliette balconies with style marble framing accents, a building that has inspired multiple others since. It’s such a privilege and honor to work with some of the worlds leading Architectural Digest Hall of Fame architects and designers and the brilliant developers who take on such enormous risk to create these smaller, very special buildings that define entire neighborhoods. And while they deliver exquisite homes for the lucky owners, they also deliver millions in real estate and other taxes - every single year - that benefit all New Yorkers. Compass
