Historically, real estate has been slow to adopt new technology. But now, artificial intelligence is beginning to reshape every part of the commercial real estate business.

The opportunities across development, architecture, engineering, design, construction, and project management are significant, yet over 60% of firms have no clear AI strategy for moving beyond pilot programs and scaling adoption across their organizations.

If you’re interested in the intersection of real estate, technology, and innovation, join us for a conversation moderated by MaryAnne Gilmartin at with Jack Hanlon and David Dunne, founder of Elemental AI, to explore what this technology means for our industry and how real estate leaders can begin to harness its potential.

Please email [email protected] if you’d like to attend and share this invitation with others who may find the conversation valuable.

Celebrating Power of the Park on Earth Day🌿 ✨
We were grateful to gather with the Madison Square Park Conservancy at Madison Square Park—a privately funded public oasis in the heart of Manhattan—to honor the power of women shaping NYC’s future.

As our nation approaches its 250th anniversary, MSPC celebrated Founding Women who drive economic vitality and spark innovation across our communities and throughout the city.

The event honored founders including MAG Partners’ own , Julie Samuels of , and Barbara Kolsun of —with a meaningful conversation led by Betty Liu on building, leading, and lifting the next generation.

In partnership with The Canvas, we brought a series of curated, in-building experiences to our residents at Mabel, Anagram, and Ruby. These events were designed to make everyday living feel a little more special...and a lot more connected.

From a nail bar pop-up and vintage shopping to coffee mornings, eyewear styling, and a flower bar set to live cello music, each event was an opportunity to turn shared spaces into shared experiences.

Because great residential communities aren’t just about where you live. They’re about how you live, who you meet, and the moments that bring people together.

A memorable look back at MaryAnne Gilmartin’s early days on the team imagining what would become the New York Times Building.

Captured in 2000 at the Renzo Piano Building Workshop in Genoa, this moment reflects the kind of rigorous, collaborative process that defines enduring architecture, where ideas are tested, debated, and refined over years.

Working alongside Renzo Piano and an extraordinary team of partners and collaborators including Serge Drouin, Bob Sanna, and the late Hussaid Ali Khan, the project was guided by a shared commitment to performance, transparency, and human connection.

Those principles shaped every decision—from the building’s iconic double façade to the experience of the newsroom within.

At MAG Partners, that legacy continues to inform how we approach development today: with discipline, curiosity, and a belief that the best projects are the result of deep collaboration and ambitious thinking.

Some ideas stand the test of time.

For this month’s MAGnified, we’re catching up with Peter Turo, Executive Assistant to our Founder & CEO, and the self-proclaimed “Personality Hire and Keeper of the Replenishing To-Do List.” Since joining MAG Partners in 2022, Peter has brought curiosity, creativity, and calm-under-pressure energy to one of the most fast-paced roles on the team.

From teaching high school English (including a stint in Milan) to working in Broadway and television, Peter forged a unique path into real estate. Along the way, he’s picked up a few guiding principles—keep a list, stay curious about people, and remember there’s rarely just one path forward.

Whether he’s coordinating across teams, logging miles around Central Park, or finding inspiration in the stories unfolding around him, Peter brings the same mindset to everything he does: Andiamo, ‘let’s go.’

Tap through to get to know Peter, his unexpected career journey, and the perspective he brings to the MAG team 🌟

MaryAnne Gilmartin joined industry leaders at last week to share an operator’s perspective on today’s office market.

Demand isn’t disappearing, it’s becoming more selective. Tenants are choosing fewer, higher-quality spaces that support culture, collaboration, and experience.

Drawing from MAG Partners’ work in , MaryAnne shared how a focus on product quality, campus-style design, open space, and amenities helped deliver and lease waterfront office space in a post-pandemic work environment — real-world proof that the flight to quality is driving leasing decisions.

Thank you to CREFC, moderator Darrell Wheeler (), and fellow panelists Paul Dougherty, Jeff Fronek, and Steven Golubchik for a timely and thoughtful discussion about navigating the office market.
