It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Marilyn Doris Mills, who passed away on May 1, 2026, at the age of 71.

Marilyn dedicated her life to caring for others through both her in-home childcare center, which she lovingly operated for 23 years while raising her children, and through her 18-year career in real estate, most notably with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices She was deeply passionate about helping families and serving her clients with kindness, dedication, and compassion.

For more than 18 years, Marilyn was also a valued member of the New Castle County Board of REALTORS® community. Her warmth, professionalism, and caring spirit touched so many throughout our industry, and she will be greatly missed by colleagues and friends alike.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 2:00 PM at R.T. Foard & Jones, Inc.. Family and friends may begin visiting at 1:00 PM.

Our hearts are with Marilyn’s family, friends, coworkers, and fellow REALTORS® during this difficult time as we remember and honor her life and legacy.
