September 11, 2001. Never Forget 🇺🇸

Today, we pause to remember the nearly 3,000 innocent lives lost, the 343 firefighters, the police officers, EMTs, and countless first responders who ran toward danger while others were running away.

We remember the families who lost loved ones, the heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice, and the strength and unity our country showed in the days that followed.

Twenty-five years later, the memories may feel distant to some, but the impact of that day will never be forgotten.

Today, we remember.
We honor.
We reflect.
And we remain grateful for those who put their lives on the line to protect others.

☀️ Morning: Breakfast at home with the kids + my protein iced coffee ☕️💪🏼 because Realtors run on caffeine AND protein 😂

🚗 Late Morning: Out the door and off to afternoon showings! 🏠🔑

🏡 Afternoon: Touring homes, answering questions, and helping buyers find the one.

🍽️ Lunch/Dinner: Somewhere between showings… because sometimes Realtor life doesn’t exactly follow a meal schedule 😂

💻 Late Afternoon/Early Evening: Back home and writing OFFERS! ✍🏼🏡 There’s nothing better than ending the day helping clients get one step closer to their new home.

🏡 WAIT… $3,000 A MONTH TO RENT BUT DO YOU KNOW WHAT $3,000 COULD BUY YOU?

I saw a 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom rental listed at $3,000/month, and it got me thinking…

That’s $36,000 a year going toward rent and at the end of the year, you don’t own any of the property.

Now imagine putting that same monthly housing budget toward a home of your own.

For example, a beautiful, move-in-ready $400,000 home could potentially be within reach for a buyer depending on their financing, down payment, interest rate, taxes, insurance and other costs.

💡 Here’s the important part:
Renting isn’t necessarily “cheaper.” You’re paying for housing either way. The difference is that when you own, part of your payment can go toward building equity in an asset you own.

RENTING:
❌ $3,000/month
❌ $36,000/year
❌ Rent can increase
❌ No ownership/equity from your rent payment
❌ Less control over the property

The question shouldn’t always be:
Can I afford a $400,000 house?

Sometimes the better question is:
What would my monthly payment actually look like, and what homes could I realistically qualify for?
